Moreland Walks It Off For the Sox

Mitch Moreland walks it off in extras to give the Red Sox the win and a 3-game lead ahead of the Yankees in the division

It’s starting to feel like this team is loving hitting walk-offs.  I mean, I do too.  Last night was the second time this week the Red Sox have won the game on a walk-off home run.

Tuesday, Christian Vasquez hit the home run and last night, it was Mitch Moreland.  Moreland has kind of been in a slump, but has kind of gotten out of it lately.  Moreland hit his solo shot right over the Green Monster.  This team is starting to become a really fun team to watch.

Let me just say this..  I was completely wrong about Eduardo Nunez.  He has done great with the Sox.  He hit another home run last night and is becoming the best hitter for the Red Sox.  I can’t believe it.

Tonight, the Red Sox face the White Sox again in Game 3 of the series.  Drew Pomeranz takes the mound tonight.  I’m hoping he can pitch well and the Sox keep adding to their division lead.
