Like many of you who start counting down the days till Spring Training begins, the day after the World Series begins. Thankfully, the Red Sox announced their 2018 Spring Training Schedule.

The Red Sox will play a total of 33 games, including the ritualistic college doubleheader to kick off game play against Northeastern and Boston College on February 22nd. Some of the other highlights of the schedule include playing the Rays 5 times and their crosstown rival Twins in the Mayors Cup series 7 times.

For those of you who are curious as to when the Red Sox will face the Yankees, they will meet twice. First on, March 3 in Fort Myers and on March 23 at Tampa.  The Sox have only one night game scheduled at home, on March 16 against the Twins.

The traditional St. Patrick’s Day home game will be against the Rays.

The “annual Truck Day” will leave from Fenway and travel to JetBlue Park and Ft. Myers will be on February 5th.
