The Red Sox released their calendar for the upcoming 2018 season.

The calendar contains action shots of fans’ favorite players including: Drew Pomeranz, Chris Sale, Craig Kimbrel, JBJ, and Mookie Betts.

Much to our displeasure, there is one surprise appearance – Pablo Sandoval.

The waste of millions of dollars occupies the month of April…surprise!

The company that produces the calendar, Turner Licensing explained that when the calendar was being made in May of last year, Pablo was still a part of the team.

A spokesperson for the company stated that,

“The company has to go through three different approvals — MLB, MLBPA, and the teams — in order for the calendars to be released. They are then printed and shipped to customers for the calendar season. “We sell 90 percent of our calendars between September and December,” said Rand.”

To make the Pablo Sandoval ordeal worse, the MLB store released one of the greatest, yet worst deal opportunities for Red Sox fans this Christmas season.

Yes, you can get a Boston Red Sox Pablo Sandoval authentic jersey for only $121.99!

Yikes…the Ben Cherington signing will already go down as one of the worst in Red Sox history, but these merchandise items are just laughable.

As much as Sox Nation wishes it was an April Fools’ joke, Pablo is gracing the month of April, it’s not.

Let’s just hope no belts were harmed in the making of that calendar.
