4/27 Pitcher / Hitter Matchups: Red Sox Back at Fenway

The Red Sox will look to build off of a 19-5 start to begin the season against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Sox will be without Joe Kelly due to a multiple game suspension for his actions against the Yankees.

The two teams will hope that the weather will clear in order to play. Additionally, the Red Sox will welcome the return of Xander Bogaerts to their lineup.


On Pomeranz: Drew Pomeranz is looking to have a better outing than his last start.  This will be his second start since his DL stint.

Daniel Robertson: 0 for 2, 2 SO

On Snell: Blake Snell has been the best starter for the Tampa Bay Rays so far this season.  His past three starts have been pretty solid.  He has won all three games and has struck 25 batters in that time.
