The 22-8 Boston Red Sox embark on a 4 game set vs the struggling Texas Rangers, who currently sit at 12-20 (last place in AL West). Under the blistering Arlington sun, can only hope for Mookie’s bat speed to only intensify. He’s currently projected to be on pace for 59 Doubles & 59 Homeruns. A contract extension is on Red Sox Nation’s wish list.

Price is on the mound, looking to stem the tide from his recent pitching woes. After starting off the year with 14 shutout innings, he has been erratic at best. It all started with leaving early against the Yankees after 1 inning, due to numbness in his fingers.  He has allowed 4 ER or more in three of his last 4 starts. Also troubling is the walks, 9 walks in his last 3 starts.

Thankfully for Price, the main two Rangers batters (Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre) that have owned him, are on the Disabled List.
