7/29 Pitchers vs Hitters Matchups – Twins Series Finale

With the Red Sox’s 10-4 win over the Twins and the Yankees split of their double header, the division lead is at 5.5 games as the trade deadline looms closer. With Rafael Devers going to the DL for a second time in matter of several weeks, the need for more infield stability has arisen. Most notable names that been bandied about are Brian Dozier and old friend Beltre (most likely). Interesting to note, Adrian Beltre was a healthy scratch.

Nathan Eovaldi gets his first start in a Red Sox uniform today.
