Jerry Remy Cancer Awareness Project Results

The beloved Red Sox announcer became the center of our prayers, as he battles cancer yet again.

The news shattered the world of Red Sox Nation, as it was announced that Jerry Remy was diagnosed with cancer.

This tragedy led to the introduction of the Team RemDawg shirts that would be used to raise awareness for Jerry, as well as make a donation to the American Cancer Society on his behalf.

Through a partnership with Guy Boston Sports, we were able to spread the word throughout various outlets and engage a wide number of fans from all over the world. The news was spread by household Boston names, such as Nick Cafardo, Chad Finn, and Lou Merloni, as well as the regular Red Sox die hard that wanted to support their beloved RemDawg.

The results were tremendous, as you all responded to help us raise over $1,300 that has been donated to the American Cancer Society. The amount may seem small, but the donation stemming from two relatively small organizations is huge.

Cancer is something that has affected all of us in one way, or another, and we’re thankful to have been involved in such a project.

We appreciate your love and support for Jerry, as well as the tremendous response.
