World Series: Drew Pomeranz added to roster

The Red Sox make a rather interesting addition to their roster.

With Game 1 of the World Series being tonight, both the Red Sox and Dodgers released their rosters.

I was expecting to see the same roster that we have seen the whole postseason and if there any changes, Steven Wright would be added.  I certainly didn’t expect to see Drew Pomeranz added to the roster.  In fact, I didn’t even see it as a possibly, so it came as a shock to me.  I wasn’t too surprised Brandon Workman was taken off the roster.

If you listen to the podcast, you are aware of my feelings towards Drew Pomeranz.  I don’t want the guy anywhere near Boston, but if he can contribute to a World Series ring, so be it.  One thing that concerns me is that Pomeranz hasn’t appeared in a game since Sept. 30.  I don’t expect Pomeranz to make that big of an impact on the series, but we’ll see.
