After a brief Injured List stint to begin the season, the Red Sox veteran is back.

It was announced this morning that the Boston Red Sox have activated Dustin Pedroia off of the injured list.

In a retroactive move, Tzu-Wei Lin was sent back to Pawtucket.

There were rumblings that Pedroia would be ready for the Fenway Park home opener, but it came to fruition. The Red Sox veteran has had this day marked on his calendar since the Sox won a World Series title last season, but he’s finally back.

The Fenway Faithful will deliver plenty of loud ovations this afternoon, but don’t be surprised if the Laser Show’s return warrants one of the loudest of the day.
