This is going to be a pretty big series for the Red Sox this weekend.

With a pretty disappointing series against the Indians past us, it’s time to look ahead at the Yankees series for this weekend. This series could tell us a lot about this Red Sox team and this squad could use a successful series against the first-place Yankees.

We will get to see a couple good pitching matchups this weekend, including tonight’s with Chris Sale facing off against J.A. Happ. The rest of this weekend’s matchups are still unknown. The Yankees pitching rotation is still yet to be decided.

Here is what the Red Sox rotation will look like this weekend:

5/30, 7:05 PM ET: Chris Sale

5/31, 7:05 PM ET: Eduardo Rodriguez

6/1, 7:15 PM ET: Rick Porcello

6/2. 7:05 PM ET: David Price (Sunday Night Baseball)

I am pretty excited for this weekend, to say the least. I’m holding out for a series win and a couple big outings from the Red Sox starters. The Yankees are playing pretty good baseball right now and they haven’t lost a series since the first day of May.Like I said, this Red Sox team could use a big weekend against the Yankees to put the Indians series past them.

*One thing that is worth nothing is the weather for tonight’s game. The weather forecast does not look good as of right now with thunderstorms around the Bronx all night.
