The 49-41 Red Sox officially begin the second half of the 2019 season. Graciously, they won five out of their last six before the break. Against bad teams notwithstanding, they needed to reap those Ws. They kick things off with a WS rematch, facing the major league best Dodgers. LA currently stands tall with a record of 60-32. Quite the test for the Sox, who are looking to sustain a hot run. The offense has been keeping them going (46 runs in last 6 games). The pitching staff meanwhile has many thanks to the bats for backing them up (34 runs given up last 6 games).
