The 60-56 Red Sox look to bounce back from a frustrating loss, while winning the series against the Royals. This of course would be their first series win, since taking 3 out of 4 vs the Yankees…. before the snowball slide started up. The last 10 games haven’t been pretty, with the rotation LITERALLY having a combined 9.50 ERA. And the offense has scored 4.1 runs per game in the ten game stretch. Cashner put them in a hole, giving up 6 Runs and 3 HRs. But, the Sox bats had plenty of chances to put runs on the board.
