After a weirdly random scheduled day off on Friday………. With 15 games left on the tab, its all about embracing the role of playing spoiler & playing good competitive baseball. The Phillies are right in the hotly contested NL Wild Card race. The Cubs, Brewers, Mets, Phillies and D-Backs will make for some great September scoreboard watching.

Eduardo Rodriguez is looking for his 18th Win of the year. He was denied a W his last time out against the Yankees… But it was not by his doing. Rodriguez pitched six innings of run ball. Alas, James Paxton and three relievers shut out the Sox offense. In his career yr, he is approaching 200 Ks, 200 innings and hopefully 20 Wins. What a year it has been for him… unfortunately, he cant carry this over into October..
