Just three games are left of the 2019 season, as the Sox begin their last homestand until next season kicks off. The best record that they can finish at would be 86-76, facing the 52-107 Orioles should be enough to reach that win total.

Nathan Eovaldi takes the mound for the Red Sox. Taking his last start in a forgettable season, he looks to finish it off with a great note. His ERA is right now an unsightly 6.03, and has allowed 15 HRs in just 62.2 innings. Eovaldi is coming off of getting his 2nd Win of the season, pitching six innings of three run ball vs the Rays. That start was just the second time this season that he has gone six innings.

Asher Wojciechowski takes the ball for the Orioles. Appearing sparingly in the majors since 2015 with 3 teams (Astros, Reds, Orioles), things haven’t gotten as planned for Woj thus far. In 155 career innings, he holds an ERA of 5.98 and has given up 33 HRs. While one would expect a blowout from the Sox offense… this is the same pitcher who shut them out for 7.1 innings on July 21st.
